What is the longest bus journey in the world?
The world’s longest bus journey has been created by Adventures Overland, a tour company based in Gurgaon, southwest of New Delhi.
Their bus route is inspired by the Hippie Trail, a famed overland journey through Europe and beyond that was legendary from the 1950s to the 1970s.
Work planning the epic trip began in 2020 but was halted by the pandemic. Named Bus to London, the route will now launch in August 2023.
What countries can you visit on the 56-day bus journey?

Passengers will start their journey passing through the Balkans and eastern Europe, stopping in capitals including Sofia in Bulgaria, Belgrade in Serbia, and Zagreb in Croatia.
It will also cover eastern European capitals like Budapest in Hungary, Bratislava in Serbia, Prague in the Czech Republic and Warsaw in Poland.
From there, the bus will venture north to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and cross the Gulf of Finland on a ferry.

Returning south, passengers will meander through Norway marveling at views of the Atlantic Ocean and enjoying stops in Tromso, Bergen and Oslo.

The route then continues through Scandinavia with Stockholm in Sweden and Copenhagen in Denmark before winding through western Europe.
