Denver concertgoers can now see all general-admission shows at certain live music venues such as the Fillmore Auditorium under a single pass, mega-promoter Live Nation has announced.
The Club Pass, as it’s being called, went on sale Sept. 19 and applies to more than 50 national venues owned and booked by Live Nation.
It costs $59-$79 to buy a pass that grants one customer access to all concerts in a single venue, and $299 to access concerts at all three participating Denver clubs: the Fillmore, Marquis Theater and Summit. The multi-club pass also covers other Live Nation venues outside of Colorado, or about 1,000 other shows in that time period.
The catch? All sales at clubpass.livenation.com end after Friday, Sept. 30.
AEG Presents Rocky Mountains, Denver’s top promoter by the number of concerts, also in May debuted a roaming “concert truck” that operates out of Mile High Pretzel Co.’s tiny kitchen. The truck dispenses with the double-digit service charges usually associated with ticket purchases and sells passes to concerts at venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Ogden Theatre at face value.
The offers are part of a marketing push to make concerts seem more affordable and accessible, despite rising ticket prices nationwide. Some concert promoters say the bump they enjoyed after the pandemic has been replaced by a broader slowdown in ticket sales due to oversaturation, high ticket prices and budget-conscious consumers, according to Billboard.
