Goth beauty has been dominating the beauty corner of TikTok for some time. Wednesday Addams may have a little something to do with that. The new wearable and glam spin to this vampy look is the glossy goth.

With the likes of Doja Cat, Amber Rose, and Hannah Monds it seems like goth-core glam was a standout trend on the Grammy Awards red carpet, with many other stars opting for dark and vampy looks. The goth aesthetic, inspired by the punk and goth subcultures of the 80s, was effortlessly reinterpreted with a modern twist, incorporating elements of high fashion and even higher levels glamour.

Celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Charli D’Amelio also embraced the trend, but with a more modern twist to that classic grunge look, sporting a glossy lip and dewy skin. Opting for a punchy red lipstick, pencil-straight brows and milky blonde hair is Kim Petras, who is giving us more of a romantic grunge moment, but for the purpose of this glossy goth inspo conversation, she unintentionally spinned the trend to suit her dainty rockstar signature look.

Madonna’s mini me, daughter Lourdes Leon, did not miss either, serving us Morticia-core energy, with a vampy lip and middle parted slick down hair. Singer Anitta also turned heads with her unconventional chestnut brown lip.

This glossy goth beauty trend at the Grammys was a nod to the timeless allure of those dark, sultry and edgy looks celebs have used to serving us, and showcased the versatility and range of the goth aesthetic but with babygirl twist like a glossy nude lip, a baby pink blush, or even a barbie blonde lob. From red carpet glam to everyday wear, and always good AF skin, goth beauty clearly going no where.
