A Kansas waitress was stunned to receive a $2,200 tip but was more than willing to share it with co-workers who she calls “family.”
Tayler Sullivan, an employee at Delano’s Diner in Wichita, Kan., earlier this month when she was tasked with serving a group of 22.

Once they finished their festive meal, they each offered to tip Sullivan $100, leaving her with a whopping $2,200 to take home.
Rather than keep it all to herself, the “shocked” server shared it with her co-workers, who she called “family.”

“I ended up tipping everyone here at the diner part of the money. I work with them every day,” she told local news outlet KAKE.
“They’re like my family. I [wanted] them to have a good Christmas as well, even if it was only just a little bit.”
Sullivan, who has worked at the diner for the past four years, said she is used to small tips but nothing like what the group of 22 tipped her.

“You never expect that amount of money coming in at a table,” the grateful server said. “And with them giving me that… it’s helped a lot. I’m going to save it for a new car or moving.”
She added: “You never know what you might get, and what goes around comes around.”
