Visiting pyramids online is already a reality
The technological advances have provided society with many applications and programs to make life easier without leaving home. From the prestigious Harvard Universityhave proposed a project in conjunction with the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism to create a system that gives stakeholders around the world the opportunity to visit pyramids by way of on-line.
The project has been dubbed ‘giza project‘ and you’ve already entered functioning, through an easy-to-find website. People will be able to enjoy virtual visitwhere they can see everything inside and discover the history of its buildingas well as the area of the sarcophagi. They will also have access to a guide which will be available in 3 Languages: Spanish, English and Arabic.
This innovative plan has pioneered a new branch of the tourism sector that advocates incorporating the digital era as a way of bring the culture to young people from different countries who cannot travel to the place in question for economic and social reasons.
