WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT?

Black Brewing Co has bucked the winter trend of dark and red beers with a tasty seasonal release reminiscent of a spring and summer brew.

Juicy IPA is the latest gold medal-winning beer from the Margaret River brewery, earning one of the top gongs at the Perth Royal Beer Awards last month.

Triple dry hopped with all-American hops, headlined by the experimental HBC630 variety from Yakima Chief, Juicy IPA is much more than just another tropical fruit bomb.

Pouring a honey gold in colour with a surprising level of clarity, it offers strong hop aromas and hints of stone fruit on the nose.

Citrus fruits orange, grapefruit and mandarin combine with mango to bring the tropical element to the flavour profile.

The strong hop character adds another layer to the palate and the 6.3 per cent ABV is evident.

But the low level of bitterness, light body and clean finish makes it very easy to drink.

Juicy IPA is punchy, hazy, hoppy and one of Black Brewing’s best seasonal releases.
