This is easily one of the silliest Zelda: Breath of the Wild videos I’ve seen to date

Classic Homer

You know that scene in Bart the Daredevil where Homer falls down a mountain in Looney Tunes fashion? It was burned in my brain when it aired on TV at the time. And it’s all I think about when I see some of the silly fall physics Zelda: Breath of the Wild videos, including this one.

Shared by TheZomb1eMonk3y, this clip is just a straight comedy of errors, and after watching it, looking back at the title “I’m the best player there is,” and looking again at the video, I laughed out loud.

It’s best to just watch it, but they use the Magnesis ability to try and angle a box to block a Guardian shot, only to have it fall on them, and then the Guardian blasts them anyway. It knocks them off the cliff, they take full life fall damage, then resurrect (!), then die again. It’s a work of art. Maybe Nintendo can make it an NFT!

The physics system is part of the fun of these types of Breath of the Wild videos. I think if I had to choose just one category that has dominated the rest, it would be “clips of Link falling in a cartoony way.” There’s something so satisfying about seeing people fail in this game, as the danger of restarting is just so low, so you can have a lot of fun with it. SekiSoulsBorne clips draw out a more sadistic reaction, as some players desperately try to finish off a boss with just a sliver of health, or spend hours attempting to best a zone, only to fall flat on their face.
