Regina George would never!
Rachel McAdams is getting real about her body in a new interview with Bustle — so real, in fact, that she requested that minimal editing be done to her photos as she happily exposed her armpit hair during the shoot.

Bustle revealed on its social media that McAdams “requested the images be edited as minimally as possible” so she does not look like “a product of the industry’s dermatological regimen.”
The magazine added that McAdams looks like, well, McAdams.
“When she laughs, her whole face moves. Smile lines linger.”

In the interview, McAdams recalled one of her last photoshoots for Girls. Girls. Girls. magazine in which she was promoting the 2017 film, Disobedience wearing a Versace jacket, a bondage-style Fleur du Mal bra — and sporting a breast pump.
“I love that juxtaposition of beauty, glam, fantasy, and then truth,” the 44-year-old London, Ont.-born, St. Thomas-raised actress told the publication, which was taken six months after having her first child and also while she was breastfeeding.
McAdams, who was promoting her upcoming movie Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret based on the beloved Judy Blume coming-of age book, she had just five months postpartum and was pumping between shots.
She was asked to try filming without a bra, as her character, Margaret’s mom, Barb, is a bit of a “wild child.”

McAdams was more than up for the challenge (thanks to the leaks, the size changes, Bustle noted), so showing some armpit hair was a walk in the park.
“With this shoot, I’m wearing latex underwear. But I’ve had two children,” the Mean Girls star pointed out.
“This is my body, and I think that’s so important to reflect back out to the world,” McAdams said.
But she also acknowledged that you do you.
“It’s OK to look your best and work at it and be healthy, but that’s different for everyone.”
