This Legendary Resort Is The Best Reason To Visit Las Vegas In 2022

With its dazzling debut in August 1966—an occasion marked with a $1 million party attended by Johnny Cash and Jimmy Hoffa—Caesars Palace, the first-ever themed resort in Las Vegas, changed Sin City forever, setting a standard for exuberant excess that has shaped the world-famous Strip ever since.

And this year, despite the last-minute implosion of Adele’s much-publicized residency earlier this month, the show goes on at the 85-acre, nearly 4,000-room entertainment mecca, thanks to a slew of exciting new programming, much-anticipated openings, and stylish revamps in 2022:

  • Keith Urban Live – Las Vegas: The global country music superstar has added five new performance dates at the 4,300-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace—March 25, 26 and 30, and April 1 and 2, 2022—besides his previously announced Memorial Day Weekend shows from May 27-29.
  • Peter Luger Steak House at Caesars Palace: With a fabled, Brooklyn-born legacy that dates back to 1887, the iconic Peter Luger Steak House will open its doors at the resort before year’s end.
  • Sting: The 17-time Grammy Award-winning composer and former Police frontman will resume his “My Songs” residency, which kicked off last October, in June 2022.
  • Dominique Ansel Las Vegas: The James Beard Award-winning pastry chef,—whose croissant-donut hybrid, the Cronut®, created a global sensation following its unveiling in 2013—will unveil his first Las Vegas bakery at Caesars Palace next summer.

  • Nobu Hotel: To create a more modern, residential feel at the 181-room Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace, the award-winning Rockwell Group has reimagined the guest rooms and common areas it first designed in 2013—drawing inspiration from kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold epoxy.

In preparation for an action-packed year ahead, Caesars Palace has also undertaken a multimillion-dollar renovation of some of its most high-profile venues, including an entirely rebuilt resort entrance complete with a show-stopping new lobby bar, as well as a facelift of the iconic Palace Casino, one of Sin City’s original gaming areas.
