This new John Lewis womenswear collection has all the fashion insiders in chokehold

Every print in John Lewis’s collections are designed in-house, or inspired by their archives, giving an individualism to the pieces you won’t find elsewhere on the high street. Along with cobalt blue (a major SS23 trend) classic black, white and denim tones, there are pops of rich orange that we are desperate to pack for holiday.

The accessories had us *adding to cart* too. A slate blue duffle bag and a tan half moon bag are winners for the new season, along with off white cowboy boots and tan suede ankle boots that will look fantastic with cotton dresses and pale-washed denim when the sun shines (or even when it doesn’t.)

AND/OR A-Line Denim Skirt

We bet you want your clothes to work as hard as you so choosing neutral shades, or at least building a closet where all the colours go together, is key. The puff sleeve leopard print dress is a versatile hun and will suit every summer occasion, whether you style it with heels or boots, as well looking great over a lightweight polo-neck until it’s time to strip back the winter layers.

And as all the collection’s denim is organic, no polluting pesticides or fertilisers are used to grow the cotton, no harsh chemicals are used as dyes and organic cotton requires less water than conventional crops – all of which have a far kinder impact on the environment.

The oatmeal checked dress is going to be everywhere on your feeds soon… and if you’re moving on from super-sized collars for your default Zoom-dressing option, the ruffled pie-crust shirt makes a subtler alternative (and in 2023’s favourite striped cotton shirting…) Right for right now, yet completely future-proof, you can see why AND/OR is on every style insider’s Spring shopping list. Including ours…
