To be honest, I was a little hesitant about the new Glossier launch—a liquid lipstick—before I tried it. Didn’t we leave liquid lipsticks and their drying, cakey formulas in 2016 with black chokers and tie tops? Not only that, but my relationship to lipstick has changed drastically since the pandemic. I used to wear a bold lip practically every day, but after over two years of mask-wearing and not leaving my apartment, my love for bold lips fell by the wayside. Lately, I’ve been gravitating toward glosses, oils, and tinted balms instead.
I’d basically all but sworn off liquid lipsticks until Glossier G Suit came along. As a die-hard fan of the brand, I knew I had to at least try it. It only took one swipe, however, before I was totally hooked. The colors are blurring and easy to play with and have the most luxurious, velvety finish.
