Fact Check-

We started our investigation by running a reverse image search on Google, whose results led us to the same video posted on Facebook by CGTN Frontline on 10 March 2021. According to the description of the video states, that the video shows a massive fire that broke out in a highrise of Shijiazhuang, China.

The caption states, “A huge fire broke out in a highrise of Shijiazhuang, China, with roaring flames quickly engulfing the whole building on Tuesday. Luckily, no one is trapped inside the fire scene. The fire has been put out with no casualty.”

The presence of the video on the internet since 2021 clearly shows that this video cannot be from the recent accidental fire incident in Changsha.

We found that Insider Paper posted the same video on 9 March 2021. The caption of the post states, “Horror view: Video from inside the building that is on fire in #Shijiazhuang, China.”
