Thor Bjornsson Talks Eddie Hall Fight
Thor Bjornsson believes he will stop Eddie Hall within four rounds of their fight later this year.
The former world’s strongest man winners will finally step into the ring together, with a March date set to be announced in the coming weeks.
They were set to square off back in September, but Hall was forced to pull out of the fight due to a bicep injury that required surgery.
Instead, Bjornsson took on arm wrestling champion Devon Larratt, whom he put away within a round during their Dubai meeting.
And the Icelandic fighter, who was lost over 120lb to get into boxing shape, has said that he will repeat that finish against Hall when they finally do step in the ring this year.
“I think I’ll knock him out in the third or fourth round,” Bjornsson proclaimed while speaking with iFL TV about the fight.
“I’m not too worried about when or how, I’ve said it in silly action when we’re talking but I’m not too worried about when.

“I’m just focused on me, focused on getting as good as possible, and people can make predictions on how they’re going to win fights.
“But at the end of the day when you’re in the ring things can change very fast and you have to be quick to adjust even though you have a game plan because it might not work.
“You have to be very alert and ready for whatever happens.”
Bjornsson is currently training in Scotland with coach Billy Nelson for his rescheduled bout with Hall, which could take place in the UK, Florida or Dubai.
He has competed in one full amateur fight against Larratt, as well as two exhibition bouts with professional boxers Steven Ward and Simon Valily.
The Icelandic fighter was dropped by Valily during their showcase bout in Dubai, but has generally impressed with how quickly he has picked up the sport.
“I’m slowly but surely coming along,” Bjornsson continued.
“I’m putting in a lot of time, a lot of effort, a lot of work and sometimes you don’t really see it yourself but I can definitely feel and see it slowly but surely coming together.

“I’m being helped by my coach Billy Nelson and all the great sparring partners that I’ve had in my preparation.
“It’s been difficult, it’s been hard like all preparations are, but I’m happy to be here in Scotland, I’m very focused and I’m doing everything I can to become as good as possible within the timeframe I have.
“I’ve been an athlete my whole life, I know how to work hard not just in the gym but also outside of it, which is the key to how I’ve stayed injury-free almost my whole career.
“I’ve had a very good, successful career without a lot of injuries because I know my body, I know myself and I do the things that are necessary to do outside of the gym as well, nutrition, food, sleep recovery, I do so much to help myself recover.”
