Chelsea trio Kalidou Koulibaly, Hakim Ziyech and Edouard Mendy are all in talks with Saudi clubs and could agree to leave west London next week.

New head coach Mauricio Pochettino is keen to trim his large squad with the Blues spending over £600m since Todd Boehly came in as co-owner last summer.

Chelsea are in danger of a Financial Fair Play breach if they do not offload several players and reports indicate that Koulibaly, Ziyech and Mendy may all depart.

Koulibaly only arrived at Stamford Bridge from Napoli last summer but the 31-year-old centre-back is reportedly in talks with Al-Hilal, who are confident of getting a deal done as soon as next week after submitting a bid worth €25-30m.

Al-Hilal finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season and they are convinced that their decision to bring in Wolves’ Ruben Neves may tempt Koulibaly to join.

Ziyech, meanwhile, is in advanced negotiations with Al-Nassr and Chelsea are pushing to get the deal done next week, according to reports.

Morocco international Ziyech is open to the move because he is keen to play with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy could also be on the way out and is in talks with Al-Ahli.

Pochettino has already decided that Kepa Arrizabalaga will be his No.1 goalkeeper next season, meaning Mendy will struggle for game time if he stays with the Blues.

Romelu Lukaku recently turned down a transfer to the Saudi Pro League and is ‘annoyed’ with Chelsea over their refusal to grant him his ideal move.
