Tilly Ramsay details being ‘so vulnerable’ on Strictly Come Dancing

Last year fans of Strictly Come Dancing watched as Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Tilly took to the dance floor with her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin. Impressing the judges each week with her routines, the 20-year-old left the competition in ninth place. A year later the social media star confessed being on the show was terrifying.

After sharing videos of herself and multi-Michelin star chef dad Gordon doing dances on the social media platform TikTok, fans were thrilled when the 20-year-old was revealed to be competing in Strictly Come Dancing.

Before making her debut, the young star stated she’d put her heart and soul into the competition and wanted to show her dad how it was done.

Tilly was paired with professional dancer Nikita and the duo impressed both the judges and audiences at home as they were the ninth couple to leave the show.

Although the current series of the BBC show is in full swing, the Christmas special is fast approaching with speculation her dad Gordon could be taking to the dance floor.

Although it looks like people may have to wait a little while to see Gordon put his dancing shoes on, fans of the chef will be able to see him go head-to-head with Tilly in his upcoming show.

The brand-new series Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted Showdown will see the 55-year-old face off against his daughter and former protégés Paul Ainsworth and Matt Waldron.

Each episode will be set in a different location where the chefs will have to create dishes that speak to the history, traditions, and spirit of the places they’re in.

From England’s Jurassic Coast to the countryside of Wales, it all comes to a head when Gordon has to compete against Tilly in Costa Rica to see which Ramsay dish the locals prefer.

Speaking about battling her dad in the upcoming series, Tilly said the competitiveness between them both is very genuine as they’re very similar.

She commented: “We both love winning so much that it’s so super natural to have that against each other – and it does cause for good fun.

“Whenever we have a little competition against each other it always gets interesting. So it’s always a laugh with him.”

Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted Showdown airs on National Geographic from Wednesday 9th November at 8pm, including Gordon Ramsay Vs. Tilly Ramsay finale special on 23rd November
