Tim Feerick, the bassist for the Sacramento-based band Dance Gavin Dance, died Wednesday at age 34, his bandmates reported.
A cause of death was not given, nor a place of death. Feerick had homes in Folsom and San Carlos, the Sacramento Bee said.

The post-hardcore band formed in 2005. Feerick was a touring member in 2009-10 and joined full-time in 2012. He also played with another Sacramento band, Wolf & Bear.
Dance Gavin Dance had been scheduled to headline next week’s Swanfest, the Sacramento festival named for their guitarist Will Swan and his Blue Swan label. In its announcement Thursday of Feerick’s death, the band said it would later issue an update on performance plans.
