A TINY UK village has become popular with tourists after it featured in hit Netflix series Black Mirror.
The dystopian anthology series released several new episodes via the online streaming service last month, with one of them set in a “sleepy Scottish town”.

The episode, titled Loch Henry, features a young couple visiting to start work on a nature documentary before being drawn to a local story involving shocking past events.
The town picked to be the sleepy location of their nature film was Arrochar, on the Cowal peninsula in Argyll and Bute in the Scottish Highlands.
Sitting at the head of Loch Long, Arrochar is one of the main gateways to the Argyll Forest Park.
According to Visit Scotland, the village is “set amongst some of the most beautiful scenery on the Cowal peninsula”.
The park is home to the Arrochar Alps and is very popular with climbers and hikers looking to walk up Ben Ime (3,318 ft) and Ben Arthur (also known as ‘The Cobbler’ at 2891 ft) among others.
However, TV fans are now joining the hikers in visiting the village due to its new-found fame, with the Daily Record even claiming that they’ve been “flocking” to the destination.
The show’s filming became a source of intrigue among visitors and locals, who were kept in the dark about what the show was and its gruesome plot.
The episode, which features John Hannah and Janet McCardle, involves some brutal murders, which surprised some of the town’s residents.
Martin Semple, the manager of the village hall, told The Times: “Everything was kept hush-hush.
“They used the code name Red Book and stuck with it.
“We didn’t know anything about the plot and we were surprised when we eventually learnt it was about a series of murders.”
The show’s violent storyline shouldn’t put people off from paying a visit, with people raving about its views and the nature surrounding it.
One wrote on TripAdvisor: “Lovely peaceful place. Very quiet for a hill walk but amazing scenery.”
Another said: “Scotland at its best – beautiful scenery backed up with great eating and drinking establishments.The Cobbler climb provided a magical memory of our trip.”
A third added: “Arrochar is such a beautiful place, scenery and light is amazing, views are stunning and can change very quickly with the weather.”
Other scenery worth visiting in Argyll and Bute includes Kilchurn Castle, a ruined structure sitting on Loch Awe.
When not hiking or enjoying the lochs nearby, the Village Inn, the Arrochar Tea Room and the Village Rest are among the offerings for a drink and a meal in the village.
The village can be reached by both rail and road, with trains linking it to Glasgow Queen Street station.
A night in a guest house at the village starts from £30pp per night, while camping nearby is available from £18.
