SCOUTING REPORT: Trae Young, that ice-cold killer is playing at the top of his game and the Hawks are rolling with their lights-out scorer. The Hawks have won five in a row and 10 of their past 12 with Young, last week’s NBA player fo the week leading the way. Young averaged 30.3 points and 10.8 assists in four wins compiled by the Hawks last week.

Nick Nurse is not going to limit his options in the quest to slow down Young. Expect all his top defenders to get a crack at Young led by his own point guard Fred VanVleet.

He’s the only player in franchise history to tally at least 2,000 points and 600 assists in a single season … Former Raptor Delon Wright is making quite a name for himself in the steals department as a member of the Hawks bench unit.
