TLC was one of the biggest R&B acts of the 90s. The trio, which was made up of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, was formed in Atlanta in 1990. They released their debut album in 1992, and it was off.
The group released CrazySexyCool in 1994, giving the world the songs “Creep” and “Waterfalls.” Their next album was 1999’s FanMail, which featured the songs “No Scrubs” and “Unpretty.” That was followed with 3D (2002.) Sadly, Left Eye died in a car crash in Apr. 2002. The remaining two released the self-titled TLC in 2017.
TLC had so many memorable red-carpet appearances during their run. Here, they repped spraypainted styles and light denim at the 1992 Billboard Music Awards.
