Kusha Kapila and her husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia announced separation on Sunday. The couple refrained from revealing the reason behind their split. However, Kusha and Zorawar mentioned in the note that the decision to part ways was ‘mutual’. After they made the announcement, an old video of Kusha discussing ‘sexual infidelity’ with Karan Johar went viral on social media. A section of netizens blamed Kusha for the separation.

Now, Kusha’s husband Zorawar strongly reacted to the trolls. He again made it clear that the divorce was a ‘mutual decision’.

Zorawar Ahluwalia slams trolls on Instagram

Zorawar took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, “We realise we live public lives, but we still hold certain things sacred. Our marriage and respect for each other being one of them. Divorce much like our marriage was a decision we both made together, after much deliberation and thought. It was a tough and painful decision but one we took collectively, for the sake of both of our well-being.”

He added, “What was transpired over the last 24 hours, with Kusha being subject to vile attacks online makes me sad and disappointed. To attack Kusha’s character and paint her as some villain is shameful. Let’s all please do better.”

Talking about the viral video, it is from the chat show ‘Social Media Star With Janice’. In the video, Karan joked, “I’m very good at giving relationship advices. The first relationship advice, I will say ‘break up’. And remember sexual infidelity is not infidelity.” To this, Kusha agreed and said, “I believe that.”
