After getting Total Eclipse of the Heart yesterday, a song with a wide reach in popularity, a few players I saw online seemed frustrated by today’s Heardle song choice. It’s easy to forget that fans of every genre of music play Heardle, so even if rap isn’t your thing, lots of people will still be excited to see their favorite artists represented in this music game.
I can definitely say that rap music isn’t my area of expertise, so I was lost for the first few seconds of the opening. Once I heard some vocals, I figured it must be a rap artist, and XXXTENTACION was my first guess. That got me a yellow cross on the board, so I knew I had the right artist. However, I still didn’t recognise the song, and I only had one guess left at this point. I clung to hope, and selected XXXTENTACION’s song “Hope” as my final guess… and was incorrect. So close!
