The WNBA launched an investigation into the Las Vegas Aces and laid down some significant punishments.
Becky Hammon received a two-game suspension for alleged workplace violations involving a pregnant player. According to a statement from the WNBA, the league rescinded the Aces’ 2025 first-round draft pick.
That’s bad news for Tom Brady, who has an ownership stake in the franchise.
“We have rescinded the Las Vegas Aces’ 2025 first-round draft pick for violating league rules regarding impermissible player benefits & suspended head coach Becky Hammon for two games w/o pay for violating league and team Respect in the Workplace policies,” the WNBA announced today.
