The WNBA launched an investigation into the Las Vegas Aces and laid down some significant punishments.

Becky Hammon received a two-game suspension for alleged workplace violations involving a pregnant player. According to a statement from the WNBA, the league rescinded the Aces’ 2025 first-round draft pick.

That’s bad news for Tom Brady, who has an ownership stake in the franchise.

“We have rescinded the Las Vegas Aces’ 2025 first-round draft pick for violating league rules regarding impermissible player benefits & suspended head coach Becky Hammon for two games w/o pay for violating league and team Respect in the Workplace policies,” the WNBA announced today.

Brady became part owner of the franchise earlier this year, but he might not be done investing in Las Vegas sports franchises. He’s reportedly interested in purchasing a minor stake in the Las Vegas Raiders as well.
