Tom Brady says he’s stepping away from the football field where he went from a sixth-round draft pick to the “Greatest of All Time,” or G.O.A.T., but the Patriots legend won’t be scraping for cash.
The G.O.A.T. has launched numerous brands and businesses that he’ll be cashing in on for decades to come.
Here’s a look at Brady’s business empire, which he plugged in his retirement announcement on Tuesday:
TB12 Sports: Brady’s wellness company has taken off. The flagship center is in Foxboro’s Patriot Place, and there’s one on Boylston Street in Boston — in addition to a site in Tampa Bay, Fla., where he played for the Buccaneers. The “TB12 Body Coach concept” is modeled after Brady’s relationship with his close friend and TB12 co-founder Alex Guerrero.
- “TB12 Body Coaches work intensively to develop customized programs for their clients, helping them to integrate recovery, pliability, nutrition and functional strength & conditioning into their lives,” the TB12 website reads.
- An initial consultation/treatment costs $200. A multipack of six 60-minute treatments at the Foxboro site is $1,200.
- There’s plenty of TB12 Sports’ items to buy on the website, including: whey protein for $42; the TB12 Nutrition Box for $90; the TB12 Perform & Recover set for $110; and the TB12 Wellness Bundle for $147.
- Equipment on the website includes: the TB12 Vibrating Pliability Sphere for $150; the TB12 Vibrating Pliability Roller for $160; and the complete home gym kit for $450.
BRADY apparel: The G.O.A.T. recently launched the pricey clothing brand in his own name. It’s being marketed as “the world’s finest performance wear.”
- “BRADY is the first technical apparel brand to apply two decades of pro sports level innovation and engineering to create a system of clothing that performs across every activity,” according to the website. “With over 3 years in development, our fabrics and materials fuse natural elements with cutting-edge technology. Designed with the body in mind. Built to move, breathe, and sweat while you compete, live and recover.”
- You can get “Zero Weight” half-zip jackets for $150, “Zero Weight” jogger pants for $145, cotton fleece hoodies for $95, cotton fleece pants for $95, cotton fleece shorts for $75, Brady ball caps for $50, and socks for $25.
Autograph NFTs: Brady is the co-founder and co-chairman of the board at Autograph.
- “Autograph is an NFT platform that brings together the most iconic brands and legendary names in sports, entertainment and culture to create unique digital collections and experiences,” the website reads.
- Brady, who has been pitching cryptocurrency, recently launched a non-fungible token series called, “Live Forever: The Tom Brady Origins Collection.” The series includes five collectible items from the QB legend: Brady’s college resume, rookie draft card, Combine stopwatch, Combine cleats and Combine jersey.
- On the Autograph website, the Tom Brady Ruby Signed Immortal Statue — as part of the Brady Origins Collection — is going for a whopping $20,000.
