Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise was part of the Mercedes pit crew at this weekend’s Miami Grand Prix.

To be more accurate perhaps, Cruise removed a tyre from a car during what appears to be a demonstration – and certainly not mid-race.

Cruise, now 60, was one of several A-list celebrities at the race on Sunday. He was spotted mingling with Colombian singer Shakira.

The race itself was won by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, ahead of team-mate Sergio Perez with Alpine’s Fernando Alonso in third.
