Tom rose to fame in the 1990s after appearing as the “tough guy” in a series of popular films, including Natural Born Killers, Pearl Harbour and Heat.
Tributes have been pouring in from social media for Tom, with Licence to Kill and The Goonies actor Robert Davi writing: “His family has my prayers – Tom and I were friends I knew of his suffering and his struggle with addiction – he was a terrific talent – Many families suffer from the heartbreak and tragedy of this disease and we do not do enough!!”
Jackie Dallas tweeted: “I had the honor of working with Tom in two films and all I can say is that he was such a kind person and talented actor! He gave each project his all and it was a fantastic experience getting to play alongside him. RIP Tom Sizemore.”
While Michael Matteo Rossi added: “You were an incredible actor, RIP Tom Sizemore.”
