Tones and I marries Aussie footy player in SECRET ceremony

Australian pop royalty Tones and I has married Victorian footballer Jimmy Bedford in a secret Bali wedding.

The singer said ‘I do’ to Bedford at a picturesque location on the popular Indonesian island over the weekend.

Bedford took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of shots from the day.

“My best friend became my WIFE on the weekend! What a celebration of love it was! Thanks, everyone for celebrating with us,” he wrote.

Bedford is a former bricklayer who plays in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League for the Frankston Bombers. He tours with his now wife, whose real name is Toni Watson, as her stage technician.

Tones and I rose to stardom with her international hits Johnny Run Away and Dance Monkey, after making her start busking on the streets of Byron Bay.

Originally from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, she was named on AFR’s Young Rich List in 2022, and is reportedly worth $35 million.

The pop star shared the sweet way Bedford proposed to her, speaking on radio in early 2022.

She recalled her Bedford proposing via a ‘Will you marry me?’ tattoo on his right knee.

“I got back from the pub… and (Jimmy) was like, ‘Oh come down to the studio I want to show you something,’” she said on KIIS FM.

“I thought he’s just like farted into the mic and put reverb on it or something.

“So I press play and he’s like… ‘Hey… I love you’ and all that stuff we say to each other, and then I turned around… he was laughing because he was so nervous.

“And at the end, it said, ‘Will you marry me?’ and when I turned around he was on one knee, and on his right knee he had tattooed ‘Will you marry me?’” the 26-year-old told hosts Kyle and Jackie.

The couple first met at a pub just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, when Jimmy commented on Tones’ beanie.
