Tottenham will swoop to sign Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus on loan in January as they look to beat Arsenal to the Swede’s signature, reports in Italy claim. Antonio Conte is keen to add some new faces to his ranks and the new Spurs boss is in agreement with technical director Fabio Paratici that Serie A is the best market to explore as he looks to put his own stamp on the side.
Spurs have already been linked with a handful of players from Italy since Conte’s appointment but the club do already have a number of stars on their radar ahead of the January window.
It’s clear that Conte wants to assess his current squad between now and the New Year before deciding which areas of the team he would like to improve.
There has also been talk that the former Chelsea boss will be looking to alter his formation in the coming months.
Conte is currently rolling out the same 3-4-3 that he used during his time in west London but the idea of switching to 3-4-1-2 is understood to have been discussed.

The 21-year-old has flunked since signing from Atalanta and has failed to find the net in 11 Serie A matches this season.
Still, Kulusevski remains one of the brightest young prospects in Serie A and there is still optimism he will develop into a world-class attacker in the coming years.
It’s claimed a move to England is the most probable move for the Sweden international, who Juventus are open to offloading.
Meanwhile, Spurs technical director Paratici claims he has not discussed signings with new manager Conte.
Instead, the pair are focused on improving the current crop of players at their disposal.
“Not at all. We trust in our players. We are focused to be better and like a team,” Paratici recently said after appointing his compatriot.
“We don’t speak about players until now. We have to be focused on our team. I think the team is competitive. We have very good players so we don’t speak about players now. It’s not the right time.”
Tottenham return to Premier League action on Sunday against Leeds and could be without both Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Cristian Romero due to injury.
