Tanguy Ndombele looks to have played his last game for Tottenham after he stormed straight down the tunnel following Antonio Conte’s decision to substitute the Frenchman in the second half of Spurs’ FA Cup third-round clash with Morecambe. Yet while Ndombele’s performance frustrated the home crowd it was the midfielder’s ponderous, sulky reaction to his withdrawal that really agitated Tottenham supporters.
Dele Alli and and Bryan Gil were also subbed but both ran off the pitch to speed things up with Tottenham trailing 1-0.
However, Ndombele was keen to make his frustrations with Conte known, trudging off slowly even though Spurs were in desperate need of a goal.
Japhet Tangnaga and Harry Kane even tried to speed up the former Lyon man as he left the field.
Meanwhile, furious Tottenham supporters bellowed out boos towards Ndombele for his poor attitude, with his actions only adding fuel to the fire.
The crowd were already sickened by their side’s performance – although Spurs would later turn the game around to win 3-1.

The former Spurs manager even broke lockdown regulations in 2020 to put on a private training session at a park in Barnet for Ndombele.
He soon revived his Spurs career and starred at the start of the 2020/21 season under Mourinho before the Portuguese receive his P45.
Since then, Ndombele’s fortunes have been up and down after only playing bit-part roles under both Nuno Espirito Santo and Conte.
Ndombele came off the bench in midweek in the 2-0 Carabao Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea but failed to make his mark.
Conte was still willing to hand him a chance to make a statement against Morecambe yet the opportunity slipped beneath his fingers.
The Frenchman didn’t appear overly bothered though and he is thought to be keen on leaving Tottenham this month.
Roma are said to be contenders for his signature – a move that would see Ndombele reunite with former manager Mourinho.
This afternoon’s disaster could prove to be the final straw for Ndombele at Tottenham while Alli’s situation is approaching similar territory.
