There’s a chance that the Houston Rockets could trade for New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson.

Per Rafael Barlowe, Williamson’s name has come up as a potential trade target for the Rockets.

The Rockets would be taking a big gamble on Williamson since he’s been super banged up for the last couple of years. He only played in 29 games this past season and missed all of the 2021-22 season due to injuries.

In those 29 games, he averaged 26 points, seven rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. He’s great when he’s on the court but that’s been a rarity since he was drafted.

The closest he’s come to playing a full season was in 2020-21 when he played in 61 games, averaging 27 points, seven rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

His trade value is somewhat of a mystery right now, but that can all change with a single phone call.

This situation will be one to monitor throughout the offseason.
