Roberto De Zerbi is refusing to rule out the January exit of Moises Caicedo following Arsenal’s £60m proposal.
The Italian has labelled the Ecuador international “complete” – suggesting he understands the interest from further afield.
“He’s a very important player, a strong player, a big player,” said Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
“He can become one of the best midfielders in Europe. For me he is now, but in the next two years for sure, because he’s technical but he’s, strong, physical. He’s complete.
“The best solution is he can finish the season with us and in the summer it is better to change teams. If Caicedo continues to play like the last games it is possible he can leave.”
