Express Sport understands that a move to Saudi Arabia is strong possibility for Philippe Coutinho this summer with Steven Gerrard keen on reunion at Al-Ettifaq.
Gerrard sealed his surprise return to management in the Middle East on Monday and could now look to sign his former team-mate for a second time having previously brought the attacker to Villa prior to his sacking.
The Aston Villa playmaker is currently training in Brazil with fitness coach Éder Dias, who is based in Jeddah and regularly works with players from Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, among others.
Bestikas recently made an enquiry but were told Coutinho is not currently interested in a move to Turkey.
