Arsenal have been encouraged to make an offer for David Raya this summer by Brentford manager Thomas Frank.
The Gunners are keen to acquire the services of the Spain international and capitalise on Bayern Munich’s talks with the goalkeeper breaking down.
Raya has made it clear that he intends on leaving Brentford this summer, and Frank has spoken out on the interest.
Asked whether it was a matter of time before the 27-year-old departs, he told NBC Sports: “Unfortunately it’s not that easy. I hope [we get an offer], we are waiting to sell. David would like to go.
“That’s fine for us. If a club want to buy [him] they just need to find out the price. So I guess it should be simple, but apparently it’s very difficult.”
