Another busy summer transfer window could soon be on the horizon in the Premier League, with several clubs already thought to be putting the wheels in motion by forming their respective plans of attack for the end-of-season market. The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are set to be among the division’s biggest spenders once again later this year and plenty of rumours have already been doing the rounds with the business end of the campaign now in full swing.
United are expected to be in the market to improve a number of positions as Erik ten Hag looks to build on a relatively productive first season in charge at the very next time of asking. The Red Devils have been widely tipped to prioritise a move for a first-choice striker to replace Burnley loanee Wout Weghorst, who is set to return to Turf Moor at the end of his six-month spell at Old Trafford.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have been the Premier League’s biggest spenders in the last two transfer windows and could reportedly be poised to lead another expensive recruitment drive when the bidding opens again in the summer. The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with a number of lucrative deals, although only time will tell how things will unfold at the Emirates Stadium and Anfield between now and the start of the upcoming campaign.
