Chelsea could pounce for Lewandowski

Chelsea may hijack Barcelona’s swoop for Bayern Munich legend Robert Lewandowski if he fails to agree terms with the Spanish giants, according to The Guardian.

The Polish striker, 33, is not willing to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena and Barca are keen to snap him up on a three-year contract this summer as he has just one year remaining on his deal with Bayern.

However, negotiations will not be easy and the report claims Chelsea could capitalise on the situation, with Thomas Tuchel a huge admirer of Lewandowski.
