After months of anticipation, Travis Scott’s first collaborative capsule with Dior has officially launched this week. The release details have been circulating since June, but the collection officially went live on Dior’s website yesterday.
Designed in collaboration with the French luxury fashion house’s artistic director of menswear Kim Jones, the range includes several iterations of the B713 ($1,450) and B23 ($1,400) sneakers as well as ready-to-wear apparel pieces, and accessories.
A spokesperson for Travis Scott told Complex that a portion of the proceeds from the capsule will be donated to Project H.E.A.L., a community-focused initiative that was founded by the artist in March. The HEAL initiative will fund design programs and provide mental health resources to the youth. Per the spokesperson, the program has already funded $1 million in HBCU scholarships. It was not specified how much of the proceeds from the Dior collection would go to the foundation.
For the release of Travis Scott’s Nike Air Max 1 in May, he also donated proceeds from the collab to his Project H.E.A.L. initiative, which was reported to be in the ballpark of “millions of dollars in proceeds,” according to TMZ.
At the time of writing, a number of items from the Dior capsule have already sold out but there are still plenty of sizes available for the B713 and B23 sneakers on Dior’s website.
