Tripadvisor has shared 10 incredible experiences to add to your bucket list including a safari, hot air balloon rides, and reindeer sledding – get ready for a major dose of wanderlust

A Big Five safari, ice cave tour, and reindeer sledding have been named some of the world’s bucket list experiences by Tripadvisor.
The travel platform has offered up a major dose of wanderlust for your holidays courtesy of a new top 10 ranking of the best experiences and tours that you can book, and it includes everything from helicopter rides to street go-karting.
Even though there are still travel restrictions and entry rules in place around the world which mean you can’t necessarily tick these all off in the immediate future, it doesn’t hurt to dream.
In fact, a survey by Tripadvisor found that 44% of global travellers are planning to travel somewhere they haven’t been before in 2022 – and 43% have already booked a tour or activity to get excited about.
So, what experiences are worth having on your radar for future adventures?
Top of the list is one of those classic bucket list holidays – a safari. Tripadvisor has highlighted a tour in South Africa, one of our top picks of the best Big Five safari destinations. The tour departs from Cape Town and offers a full day’s guided tour with ample opportunity to see the likes of elephants, lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and rhino.
Heading over to colder climates, Iceland’s epic Vatnajokull Glacier was the setting for the second bucket list-worthy trip, thanks to a guided tour of the glacier’s crystal blue landscapes from the Jökulsárlón Lagoon. The tour of the incredible ice caves allows for both exploring on your own or with a guide. Reindeer sledding took the third spot on the list, as part of a wider epic tour in Tromso complete with the chance to stand with a herd of 200 reindeer.
There are heaps of other dreamy getaways too including a helicopter of New York so you can enjoy unrivalled views of the skyline, or a street go-kart race in Osaka so you can finally put those Mario Kart skills to the test!
