South Korean actors Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin to star in Netflix original novel-based melo drama Trunk.

According to Korean tabloid Soompi, based on a novel of the same name, Trunk is about a fixed-term marriage service agency NM that sets up marriage life with the spouse one desires.
A source from the actor’s agency Management SOOP confirmed their casting and shared, “Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun Jin have received offers to star in ‘Trunk,’ and they are positively reviewing their offers.”
As per the report, Seo Hyun Jin is in talks to play NM’s deputy head Noh In Ji “who chooses to stay single even though her career revolves around marriage.” Meanwhile, Gong Yoo is in talks to play music producer Han Jung Won “who believes all marriages are deceit.”
On the work front, Gong Yoo is best known for his roles in the television dramas Coffee Prince, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, The Silent Sea, and Squid Game, and the films Silenced, Train to Busan and The Age of Shadows among others. Meanwhile, Seo Hyun Jin is known for You Are My Spring, Record of Youth, Temperature of Love and many more.
