Chelsea have continued to roll with the punches that the takeover saga has thrown their way. Todd Boehly’s consortium, Stephen Pagliuca and a group headed by Sir Martin Broughton – joined by Serena Williams and Lewis Hamilton – remain in the running after the Ricketts family withdrew their proposal.

Michy Batshuayi
Leeds United are interested in signing Chelsea striker Batshuayi in the summer transfer window, according to TeamTalk. The report claims that the Premier League side are one of many clubs interested in the 28-year-old striker, who has enjoyed this season on loan with top-flight Turkish side Besiktas.
Batshuayi, who has scored 14 goals in 28 Super Lig appearances this season, is said to have attracted interest from Spain, Italy and Germany. TeamTalk adds that the Blues are keen to offload the £9m-rated striker at the end of the season.
Nathan Baxter
West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing goalkeeper Baxter from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The 23-year-old has been on loan with Hull City this season and has impressed for the Tigers throughout the campaign.
Ian Maatsen
Another Chelsea loanee is being linked with a move away. Feyernoord are looking to sign Maatsen, according to Dutch outlet Voetbal Primeur.
The 20-year-old, who has impressed this season on loan with Coventry City in the Championship, has been with the Blues since moving from PSV’s youth academy in 2018. While Maatsen’s deal at Stamford Bridge is set to expire in June 2024, Voetbal Primeur claim that there’s ‘little chance’ Tuchel will give the Netherland youth international a chance in the first-team next season.
Billy Gilmour
Chelsea are set to send Gilmour on loan again next season, having not yet done enough to convince Tuchel he warrants a place in the Blues first team, according to 90min. The report claims that Fulham, former side Rangers and Bournemouth could be potential destinations for the 20-year-old.
