Tuesday Trivia: When Farhan Akhtar was ‘holding on to dear life’ with Farah Khan

And… it’s time for Tuesday Trivia the time when we look back at some of the olden trivia that gave Bollywood its golden glow. This time round, Tuesday Trivia comes from the social media account of the actor cum film maker cum host cum almost everything… the one and only Farhan Akhtar.

A few months back, Farhan Akhtar had posted the adjoining photograph of him along with the ace choreographer cum filmmaker Farah Khan. Farhan Akhtar had captioned the photograph as “The wonder years. Dancing with or should I say holding on to dear life (that’s what it looks like) with @farahkhankunder .. (love the flash dance hair)”.

On the film front, Farhan Akhtar had last featured in ‘Toofan’ and also superhero web-series ‘Ms. Marvel’, wherein he played Waleed, a member of the secret cult of ‘Red Daggers’. Besides this, one may recall that, Farhan Akhtar had earlier announced the film `Jee Le Zaraa`. This was the film which starred the likes of Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

When he had announced the film, Farhan Akhtar said that he was looking forward to working on the film, which he announced on the 20th anniversary of his directorial debut `Dil Chahta Hai`. He took to social media and posted “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of `Dil Chahta Hai` to do it. “#JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra #KatrinaKaif @aliaa08 will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road,” Farhan, who is returning to direction after over a decade following the release of his Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Don 2”, said.

For the unaware, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar have directed successful road trip films like “Dil Chahta Hai” (2001), “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” (2011) and “Dil Dhadakne Do” (2015). As for “Jee Le Zaraa”, it was slated to be released in 2023, but, got postponed for reasons not known so far.
