TUI has been forced to cancel a number of flights until the end of the month.
The tour operator confirmed that the cancellations would affect anyone travelling to and from Rhodes until July 30.
More than 16,000 people were evacuated by land and 3,000 by sea from 12 villages and several hotels in the largest evacuation effort Greece has ever seen following the wildfires.
Terrified holidaymakers were forced to flee burning hotels, wade through water and sleep on gym floors.
Earlier this week, TUI confirmed that flights to Rhodes would be cancelled until July 25.
This has since been extended until the end of the month.
A TUI spokesperson said: “Our teams in Rhodes have been working tirelessly to support customers impacted by the wildfires in south-eastern parts of the island and three dedicated flights brought our first customers safely back to the UK overnight.
“We have reps in all evacuation centres and we’re aiming to get more people home from the affected areas as soon as we can.
“We appreciate how distressing and difficult it’s been for those who have been evacuated and ask that they continue to follow the advice of the local authorities and keep in touch with our teams.
“We have cancelled all outbound flights to Rhodes up to and including Friday 28th July, and have also cancelled all outbound flights for customers travelling to impacted hotels up to and including on Sunday 30th July.”
Jet2 have cancelled all passenger flights to the fire-stricken Mediterranean island until next Sunday, but will fly empty planes to Rhodes to evacuate customers.
Thomas Cook have also pulled all holidays to the areas of Kiotari and Lardos from today until Monday, July 31.
And easyJet has cancelled all package holidays until Wednesday.
