Twinkle Khanna recalls her fifth date with Akshay Kumar as she wishes him on 22nd anniversary | Bollywood Bubble

Bollywood power couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are celebrating their 22nd wedding anniversary on January 17. The couple share two kids – a son Aarav and a daughter Nitara. As they have stayed together for over 2 decades, Twinkle recalled her fifth date with Khiladi Kumar and mentioned how she told him that she would never marry someone like him. However, Akshay’s one line impressed her and well, the rest is history.

Recalling her time with Akshay Kumar, Twinkle also shared a small note on her social media along with a handwritten note.

The Mela actor captioned, “Only he could have found the perfect card! On our fifth date, I told him, ‘I would never marry someone like you.’ He instantly replied,’ I don’t remember asking you.’ I was so impressed with that line ???? It’s been over two decades and we have built a life that encompasses two children, our extended families, work, friends, dogs, independence and stability.’ As for what he has written in the card: I don’t know if I have the wisdom of a Queen but the man does have the patience of a saint and most importantly, a heart of gold. You don’t have to be alike to make it work, you just have to like each other enough.”

He backed the photo by saying that he and Twinkle are two imperfect people who have perfectly managed to stick together for the past 22 years. He wrote, “Two imperfect people who have perfectly been stuck together since twenty-two years! Happy anniversary Tina.”

On the professional front, Khiladi Kumar will be next seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Selfiee, a remake of Soorarai Pottru, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2 and Capsule Gill. He will also play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Mahesh Manjrekar film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
