The paper narrowed the list down to 26 places – and two Scottish areas made the newly published list.

Coming in at number 14 on the list is Isle of Rum which has an environmentally-friendly excursion noted by the Times.

It adds that visitors can enjoy “a week of discovery and conservation” in the car-free island.

And even suggests that visitors can enjoy climbing the summits Hallival and Barkeval which lead to stunning beaches at Kilmory Bay.

While there, people can also enjoy scenic walks along the wildlife and can even help out with local beach cleans.

But it warns that “this holiday may well leave you questioning your present lifestyle”.

However, despite it beauty, this tip comes with a hefty price tag.

For five nights full board from Wilderness Scotland, it will cost a visitor around £1,695 per person.

The other Scottish spot mentioned in the article was a trip to the Inner Hebrides.

Coming in at number 20 on the list, adventure-seekers can enjoy a swim alongside the seals.

Swim Trek tours can pick up travellers from Mallaig on a huge brigantine rigger measuring a whopping 102ft.

For thrill-seekers who love the cold water, a swim in the freezing waters is available around Skye.

And they can swim with seals that surround the Cuillins in Loch na Cuilce.

Again, it comes at a cost, with six nights full board costing around £1,880 per person.

Speaking of the visit, The Times notes: “Do expect to swim alongside the grandest scenery in the UK. Don’t expect many other bathers. Breathtaking in every sense.”
