Vitor Belfort Calls Out Tommy And Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury has been labelled a “legend” after putting a young boxer through a playful sparring session.

Heavyweight world champion Fury, who fights Dillian Whyte in April, is currently in Dubai to start the early stages of his training camp.

The domestic rivals are expected to meet on April 23, with the Wembley Stadium in London and Principality Stadium in Cardiff being likely venues for the world title clash.

In a recent video of Fury training, he can be seen having a light body spar with a young boxer named Andy Charanek.

He is encouraged by Fury to give him the best punches he’s got, whilst Fury is returning with very light shots to the body.

And Fury toys with the young boxer in the video by jokingly shouting: ” You should do a million rounds sucka! Come on Andy!”

Fans have weighed in the video by complimenting Fury for giving the young boxer a sparring session he will never forget.

“Believe it or not it’s actually pretty awesome that Fury did this for the young lad. Yes it’s demoralising, but allowing him to pick his shots on actual ribs and liver rather than a heavy bag or bulky body pads,” a commenter wrote.

“Plus having a legend push you on tryna make you better. It’s tough love and for the young boxer although it’s a little embarrassing atm in the long run he 100% appreciates this.”

Another commenter praised Fury for not going too hard on the other boxer.

“I love how Tyson is so much bigger but he doesn’t use his power and weight to overwhelm, instead he lets the guy work and uses only some of his strength to do light taps, not heavy punches. Now that’s a great training partner,” they wrote.

And a final user praised the new “version” of Fury in which three of his last four wins have come by knockout.

“This version of Fury really is terrifying,” they commented. “I’m so happy he started coming forward and busting heads instead of just outboxing people. They really thought a 6’9 270 pound man couldn’t punch.”

Interim WBC titleholder Whyte has refused to address his fight with Fury being announced, with ‘The Gypsy King’ goading his opponent for remaining silent.

Frank Warren, who will co-promote the fight alongside Top Rank, revealed they have sent through Whyte’s contract for the fight and are now awaiting a reply.

“The contract has been approved by the WBC and has been sent to them, so it’s up to Whyte’s people to send it back now,” he said. The ball’s in their court, absolutely.”
