UAE ambassador witnesses signing of Memorandum of Cooperation between Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Mexican Ministry of Agriculture

MEXICO City, 13th June, 2023 (WAM) — Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to the United Mexican States, and Victor Villalobos Arambula, Mexico’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation and the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development at the Embassy’s headquarters in the capital.

The agreement is part of the cooperation between the two countries for the organization of the Second International Date Palm Festival in Mexico in November.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdul Wahab Zayed, Secretary General of the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, and Santiago Arguelo Campos, General Coordinator of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
