ABU DHABI, 26th July, 2023 (WAM) — The UAE Archery Team will conclude its preparations on Thursday at the Al Madam Cultural Sports Club to participate in the 2023 World Archery Championships in Berlin from 29th July to 7th August.
The team’s British coach, Michael Burt, described the championship as a unique and significant event by all standards, with the participation of over 500 athletes from 80 countries, noting that the Emirati team has undergone some eight months of intensive preparations, including participating in various international tournaments, which yielded promising results.
“The strength of the competition in the World Championship greatly motivates us. Our ambitions are always high, and we want to gain something exceptional for the UAE, through achieving the best possible outcomes,” Burt said.
