In addition, the UAE has sent medical supplies and 10 ambulances to Ukrainian authorities to help the Ukrainian people and refugees in neighboring countries such as Poland, Moldova, and Bulgaria.

The UAE Ambassado noted that the UAE has also provided assistance through the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, which has delivered hundreds of tonnes of relief and medical supplies and ambulances to Poland in coordination with international organizations such as the World Health Organization, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and the World Food Programme to assist Ukrainian refugees.

She added: “His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, directed the provision of USD 100 million worth of additional humanitarian aid to Ukrainian civilians as part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to mitigate the humanitarian impact of the crisis.”
