UAE flag source of pride for Emiratis, symbol of belonging and unity : RAK Ruler

RAS AL KHAIMAH, 3rd November, 2022 (WAM) — H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has emphasised that celebrating the UAE Flag Day mirrors the pride and belonging of the UAE nationals of their homeland, and their determination to continue the journey of prosperity and sustainable development since the beginning of the Union.

On this occasion, Sheikh Saud said, “The UAE flag is a symbol of our Union, the title of our pride and glory, and the determinant of our identity and culture. It reflects the absolute confidence of the UAE people that we are moving forward together, creating a bright tomorrow under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and loyal to the unwavering legacy and far-sighted vision as well as the journey of achievements and successes laid by the founding fathers.”

Sheikh Saud added, “Our country’s flag is flying as high as our mountains and our ambitions, strong as our will, and will continue flying in all fields of glory thanks to the pride of all Emiratis.”

The Ras Al Khaimah Ruler extended greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, Emiratis and residents on this occasion.

He stressed that the UAE Flag Day is an opportunity to express loyalty, belonging and love for the homeland.
