UFC 275: Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Prochazka live results.

For the first time since October 2019, the UFC returns to Singapore, bringing the country its first chance to host a UFC pay-per-view event with UFC 275. With it comes two title fights and an exciting, long-awaited rematch.

In the main event, Glover Teixeira makes his first defense of the UFC light heavyweight championship as he takes on Jiri Prochazka.

Teixeira has been on a tear in the Octagon over the last few years, winning eight of his last ten, including six straight. Teixeira pulled off a major upset in October when he submitted Jan Błachowicz in the main event of UFC 267 to capture the UFC’s 205-pound title.

With that event taking place a couple of days after his 42nd birthday, Teixeira became the oldest first-time UFC champion.

His current winning streak has also seen him defeat Thiago Santos and Anthony Smith.

At 28-3-1, with 12 straight victories, Prochazka is only competing in his third UFC bout, earning the title shot after making some heavy noise in the division already.

In his UFC debut at UFC 251, Prochazka pulled off a huge knockout of Volkan Oezdemir. Then, 10 months later, Prochazka produced one of the biggest knockouts of 2021, knocking out Dominick Reyes with a spinning back elbow.

Prior to the UFC, Prochazka was a key figure in RIZIN, defeating Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal to become the inaugural RIZIN light heavyweight champion and later successfully defending that title against UFC veteran C. B. Dollaway.

In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will look to make her seventh straight successful defense of the UFC women’s flyweight championship, as she takes on Talia Santos.

Shevchenko, arguably the most dominant champion in the UFC today, became flyweight champion by defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 231 and has retained against Jessica Eye, Liz Carmouche, Katlyn Chookagian, Jennifer Maia, Jessica Andrade and Lauren Murphy.

After a win on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil 2 and dropping a split decision in her UFC debut, Santos secured this title shot with victories over Molly McCann, Gillian Robertson, Roxanne Modafferi and Joanne Wood.

UFC 275 will also feature Jedrzejczyk taking on Weili Zhang in a rematch of one of perhaps the greatest women’s MMA fight in history. That original bout took place at UFC 248 and saw Zhang defeat Jedrzejczyk by a split decision to retain the UFC women’s strawweight title.
