Jack Della Maddalena gets a TKO win in the first thanks to timely body shots on Ramazan Emeev.
The Dana White Contender Series has created another stunning first-round finish at UFC 275, as Jack Della Maddalena KO’ed Dagestani fighter Ramazan Emeev with body shots. Della Maddalena’s win was not an easy test, despite the fight going just 2:32, Della Maddalena had to survive a serious-looking choke from Emeev that turned his entire head bright red. The Australian was ready for it, however, and was able to get out of the hold, work his way back to his feet, and lay in some stunning shots to drop Emmev.

Being able to drop a guy with a body shot is impressive, but being able to do it after escaping a rolling choke isn’t exactly something to sneeze at. Della Maddalena’s defense is impressive and his ability to fight through adversity, all to get the TKO win is going to endear him to the UFC faithful. Della Maddalena now has 12 wins and 10 of which are knockouts.
