UFC 281 saw Matt Frevola roll through Ottman Azaitar.
It didn’t take long for Matt Frevola to finish Ottman Azaitar at UFC 281. With his teammate and bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling sitting front row, Frevola landed a three-piece combo to drop Azaitar just minutes into the first round.
He is now 10-3-1 for his career and is now 2-2 in his last four.
Frevola made sure to state that he would knock out Azaitar in the first round, and he didn’t lie, finishing the fight at just 2:30 in the first round. After the win, Frevola called out Paddy Pimblit, saying that it was the fight to make next.
UFC 281’s Ottman Azaitar is becoming known for all the wrong reasons
The now-formerly undefeated Azaitar was famously found to break the Covid-19 protocols while in Abu Dabhi, and it seemingly had to do with him climbing a building and dropping off a bag of some sort to someone he knew. No one knew what was in the bag but as he was caught on camera, and violated numerous rules, the UFC released him.
After nearly two years, he was brought back, and in his return fight got merked.
